Brantly Womack is Cumming Memorial Professor of Foreign Affairs at Virginia University. Most of his work has been on Chinese and Vietnamese national and international politics, among which his remarkable studies in Mao's political thought have great academic influence in China. Several chapters of his book "Foundations of Mao Zedong's Political Thought" are published full-text on the People's Daily website. He is also honorary professor of Sun Yat-sen University, Jilin University and East China Normal University.

 

布蘭德利.沃馬克目前為弗吉尼亞大學(xué)政治科學(xué)系講座教授。沃馬克教授學(xué)術(shù)研究領(lǐng)域廣泛，主要包括當(dāng)代中國政治、兩岸關(guān)系以及越南國內(nèi)政治改革等。其中，沃馬克教授對毛澤東思想的研究在中國學(xué)術(shù)界有較大影響力。主要著作有：《毛澤東政治思想的基礎(chǔ)》（部分章節(jié)翻譯版本轉(zhuǎn)載于《人民日報》網(wǎng)站）、《中國政治》、《中國與越南》等。沃馬克教授同時也擔(dān)任中山大學(xué)、吉林大學(xué)、華東師范大學(xué)等大學(xué)的榮譽教授。
